So.
McCain's choice for a VP is the most pathetic thing I've seen in quite some time. It's like he did the same thing as Obama; got someone who is his complete opposite, although not in a good way. Sarah Palin is her name, and she's been in politics for all of 14 years; four in a city council, six years as an Alaskan mayor, two years in a gas and oil conservation committee, and two years as the governor of Alaska. Not a terribly impressive resume, considering that the governor bit is the title that carries the most weight. While McCain may have experience, one can assume that she does not. She's younger, yes, but that really doesn't help. She is the most obvious case of a token woman I have ever seen. Seriously. If they wanted to diversify the ticket, they really ought to have chosen someone... Better. Especially considering that, should McCain die in office, she would be a clogged artery away from the presidency. No thank you.
Really now. Sure, I really don't like McCain, but I would have thought that he would have the sense to find someone more appealing than himself, not less. I wasn't sure that it was possible, but I am even more certain now that, if I could, I would not vote for McCain.
Oh, right, doodles imminent.
And fun side note; Obama still has yet to be added to the spell check. And "Alabama" comes up as one of the possible corrections. And BMW. I lol'd.
